I knowwww you want Hainan Chicken merch, we deserve to show off our love for this dish. I chose this blue to mimic the Chinese porcelain rice bowls 🍚 the illustrated plate is my grandma’s flora plate that she loves to plate her Hainan chicken on at home. This tote was designed to pair with my Family Meal Mondays pop-up on 4/1 as limited-edition merch. My name and event info in English hugs the side of the bag, inspired by vertical Chinese character writing, like a nod to my mixed Asian Americanness. “Gurng” ginger sauce, chicken broth bowl, and “bwee chin” rice ball hanging on the side of the platter.
