A special edition of @bonappetitmag ‘s “Show Me” series. A peek into a food lover’s life, featuring 11 of our manyyy @welcome.to.chinatown volunteers, co-founders Victoria Lee & Jennifer Yu, and me. I’m still in awe that we got to amplify our favorite local Chinatown spots, sharing our childhood (and present day) flavors with BA’s 4 million followers.

Growing up in nyc allowed me to experience lots of diversity, and I’m glad that I get to spread the love of my upbringing beyond my neighborhood borough.* Especially during this time of rising Anti-Asian sentiment, echo-ing our voices even when it feels like no ones listening is important. Eventually, the genuine sound waves are gonna get picked up, I promise you. ✨
